Secret *HINT* and *HOW TO* (1)

You found a SHH!

chair position

How many times have you wanted to have a *FIRM* chair for a doll to sit in --- and LOOK like she is *sinking* into the chair cushions with some weight?  YET also be able to glue her securely to the chair so she is sitting upright without wiggling?

This is easy to achieve in 3 simple steps!
a)  Find an inexpensive wrought iron chair, cover with saran wrap.
b) Take fimo of any color, and gently shape into two cushions complete with a doll *indent* for her butt or arms/back - bake as package directs. Cool.  Take saran wrap off chair.
c) Cover fimo with a light coat of tacky glue and allow to dry slightly.  Now cover cushions with your choice of material (we used an old handkie here for maxiumum *worn* look).  Lastly take your brown/tan eye or cheek blush and gently age cushions if you would like!

**HINTS**
-To make cushions look even more *homespun* why not add a little patched or quilted square to cover up that miniature rip?
-Remember that the BACK (underside) of cushion gets glued to chair. No need to sew a cushion, just wrap material around to back, cut off excess, and glue flat.
-Use a tan fimo color for cushion base. This way when you add the thin batiste (handkie) material, it will show through and look more worn!
-Run a pin through cushions (wiggly a bit to make hole bigger) and after fimo is baked, you can cover and add tiny painted pin heads to resemble chair cushions.
